Looking on the positive side, we did manage to enjoy our A&W meal and Krispy Kreme as planned!

I am still quite proud of ourselves as we made use of the mass public transportation to move around the city, except for the airport transfer! In my previous trips to KL, we will usually flag a cab to travel to the next destination.

On the Monorail to KL Sentral

This time round due to the weird number that we have (5 of us can’t fit into 1 cab), a small bid to save some money and removing the hassle of bargaining the cab fare with the cab drivers, we used the Monorail, Rapid KL LRT and KTM Kommunter instead!

Ok, I must say that the public transport information in KL is really confusing. Without the helpful hotel staff at Bintang Warisan Hotel, we would have ended up taking 2 cabs to move around the city. Here are some tips for you if you stay in Bukit Bintang area.

Bukit Bintang to KLCC:

1. Take Monorail from Bukit Bintang Monorail Station (or Imbi if you are nearer to Times Square) to Bukit Nanas Monorail Station.
2. Walk to Dang Wangi LRT Station.
3. Take Rapid KL LRT to KLCC LRT Station.

Bukit Bintang to Mid Valley Megamall:

1. Take Monorail from Bukit Bintang Monorail Station (or Imbi if you are nearer to Times Square) to KL Sentral Monorail Station.
2. Walk to KL Sentral KTM Kommunter Station. The train service runs at 30 minutes interval.
3. Take KTM Kommunter to Mid Valley KTM Kommunter Station.

We also met Jeff on the Saturday night where he took time off his busy schedule to bring us around Imbi area to enjoy the good food! The Bak Kut Teh at 新峰肉骨茶 and the Chicken Wings from Wong Ah Wah were great! Thanks, Jeff for the recommendations!

So how did we ended the long day? A foot and back massage and a near 2 hours KTV session at Red Box @ Plaza Low Yat… Guess what time we slept? 4 am plus. Hur Hur Hur. Of course, what follows was a pretty grouchy day for me, but I did LOOK like human for the entire day till I reach home!

However, it is really ridiculous to inform us that there will be a flight delay due to the late arrival of the aircraft, just 10 mins before the flight time. We were all QUEUING outside the gate already, you know?

Did you know that you could have told us earlier so that we can eat and shop at a leisure pace than to rush ourselves just not to miss the flight?

I am surprised by this kind of service, especially that you are a subsidiary of the Singapore Airlines. Time to review the way you treat your customers.
