It’s the time of the year again! The Christmas Light Up at Orchard Road came early this year so that the APEC delegates will also be able to enjoyed them!

A few of us were invited by the Singapore Tourism Board to attend the Christmas Light Up ceremony as “Media”. We went with T-Shirt and Jeans since the attire stated in the invite was “casual” and guess what? We were severely under-dressed for the event. Perhaps this was the reason that President SR Nathan asked which media we were from when we walked past us. When asked which Media we were from, we replied… “We are bloggers!”

This year’s Christmas light-up on Orchard Road is themed “A Christmas All Decked Out”. Various snowmen, reindeers and even Santa Claus have been given style makeovers and are decked up in the latest fashions of the season. The design of each zone within Orchard Road focuses on a key Christmas icon and leverages on the new infrastructural features.

We were also had a complimentary ride on the Hippo Bus which brought us though Orchard Road.

Pretty isn’t it? What we have missed was the “A Glitzy Christmas by the Bay” over at Marina Bay as the road were closed for APEC summit. We will probably going there for a photo shoot soon after the APEC Summit ended.
