Fail Whale! Overcapacity!
I recently just saw the new Go Green with SMRT ads and one thing strikes me – They look exactly like the Fail Whale.
But then again, I think it is a silent protest by the creatives who did this series of ads.
Why? Ask yourself, when do you see the Fail Whale?
When Twitter is overcapacity lor!
Yup, SMRT Trains and Buses are way overcapacity.

Actually, I don’t understand the SMRT ads. Why butterfly carrying the bus?
That doesn’t make sense to complain about public transport being crowded for an ad promoting its use. Sounds very oxymoronic.
wonght – This is the problem. Without increasing enough capacity of the trains and buses, they are still encouraging people to use them.
