I think Jean got a point there. RP can get away with using a lower-case P for polytechnic.

Furthermore, the ad mentioned Republic Polytechnic so I believe it didn’t mean to confuse.

It’s too bad for Singapore Polytechnic to have used such a generic name.

Hmm.. that’s why the “P” in “polytechnic” is small “p”… Haha… it’s like saying, “I want to go to a Singapore polytechnic”. Oh well… Convince, Confuse, Con.

Well they’re technically not in the wrong.

I was wondering about the ad too, but RP is indeed a polytechnic in Singapore.
