Early Birthday Celebrations…

This year’s birthday celebration really came very early. My department celebrated the birthday of both my boss and my on 2 Apr 09. My 3 other friends from my office also treated me for a birthday lunch a few days later.

Today, my team celebrated my birthday with me at the Grand Court Vegetarian Restaurant. It has been awhile that we had a slightly more relaxing atmosphere.

The food was great and I ordered my favourite “金钱滚滚” aka Fried Salad Roll which I had a few years back when Wee Kek treated a few of us there.I still remember how HY loved the taste of it!

Anyway, we particularly love the broccoli served in vegetarian oyster sauce! We could taste freshness of the broccoli in this simple dish, but seriously I never had any broccoli that tasted this good!

Oh, did I mention that Grand Court Vegetarian Restaurant is also a healthier choice? Hee hee. It is located at 20 Trengganu Street, #03-01 Singapore 058479, 1 level above Yum Cha.

In 19 hours time, I will be celebrating my birthday with my pals from the plurk photo group and guess what? As per the “tradition”, they will be making me eat 28 food items. Hope I will be able to pull this through.
