A Happy New Year to all who are reading this.

Guess you might have noticed that I haven’t been updating this blog for sometime. Work has been quite crazy for me. A lot of unfortunate things have happened in my life and even my New Year’s Eve wasn’t spared.  If not for the support from my friends, Zumba instructors and Zumba kakis, I wouldn’t been able to keep myself sane.

There are a lot of things that I want to write about, but I simply did not have the time to do it.

Looking back the past 1 year, it’s amazing how things have changed in 1 year…

  • A year ago, my iPhone is filled with MandoPop songs and it is full of Zumba Tracks
  • My weekend used to filled with photo outings, but now it’s just Zumba Fitness, BodyPump and Gym
  • Some of my good friends are no longer talking terms with their BFFs
  • I am no longer as active as I was on social media networks
  • I have started reading. SURPRISE!!! For those who don’t know, the only books that I managed to complete were Literature textbooks and Harry Potter (1 – 5)

My new year resolution? To rethink, reorganise and take control of my life! I am not sure if I am able to, but at least I am trying. :)

PS: To my friends in the PR industry, my apologies that I haven’t been able to give your clients media coverage. I’ll probably need awhile more to get my life organised.

Someone from Singapore did a parody of “Under the Sea” on Singapore MRT transport system called “I Wanna Si”, which means “I want to Die” in Hokkien.

So, Sebastian the Lobster sang along the tune of “Under the Sea” and tries to warn the Little Mermaid about the state of Singapore MRT transport system!

I am say that this chap is damn creative…

I luff until “I Wanna Si”! Good way to beat the Monday Blues! How about you?

The last 3 months have been quite a rollercoaster ride for me. I am currently struggling to keep myself afloat with work and thought I ought to tell everyone that I am still alive :)

In November 2010, I’ve travelled all the way to Washington D.C. to share Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) work with the international mental health community, as well as learning more about mental health education from the finest. I’ve benefited quite a bit from this conference and I would like to thank HPB for giving me this opportunity to attend this conference.

Never in my life that I have travelled this far! The furtherest 2 countries that I’ve travelled are the down under (Australia) and the land of the rising sun (Japan). Having to attend the conference in the day and yet still working at night (given the 13 hours difference) was no joke. En route back to Singapore, I stopped over in London for 6days, which also happens to be my first holiday in the whole of 2010!

A big thank you to Canon for lending me the Canon Powershot G12 to company me through this trip! It is certainly a solo traveller’s best friend! I will try to share my more about how the Canon Powershot G12 had helped me to capture the moments during my Washington D.C. work trip and London Holidays soon!

Jet lag hit me hard after the trip and I had a hard time adjusting my body clock back to the local time! The accumulated workload over 1 week and the days when I was down due to jet lag wasn’t too fun either.

Had my second holiday of the year with the other bloggers that span through the New Year! The experience was really EPIC! hahaha! Will share more when I can breathe better :)
