I think the word here is 'allow' - you've got to allow yourself to live your life fully, and that means experiencing the bad as well as the good. I think the word here is ‘allow’ – you’ve got to allow yourself to live your life fully, and that means experiencing the bad as well as the good. Of course, you’re always in a position of choice about what you do with what happens to you, so interestingly that willingness to experience your life makes you more positive anyway.
