An open letter to Standard Chartered Bank

2009 January 10

Dear Standard Chartered Bank,

This is the second time that I am canceling my Credit Cards with your bank.

First, your bank couldn’t print the correct name to be appeared on my credit card and this time round your staff have got my billing address wrong.

And now that my signature on my credit card is badly smudged, I was told that I can continue to use it. If I insist to replace the card, I will have to pay a $20 service charge.

I must say that I am utterly impressed by quality of your service staff.

Thank you for giving me this kind of banking experience and I will not give your bank a third chance.

Victor TAN

What a world class service. I don’t think any other bank can match them in terms of service. Simply can’t raise any higher. You must be the most lucky person in the world! LOL

Yup. In fact my experiences with DBS/POSB and Citibank have been always positive.
