3 Things that I’ve learnt today
2008 October 30
The projects that are presented today at the workplan are damn exciting! However, the session was strangely sleep inducing, just like the one held on Tuesday.
There are 3 things that I’ve learnt about presentations, though the workplan presentations:-
- Should always start with strategies.
- Need to show report card for the previous year.
- Need to show facts and support with research data and theories.
I particularly like Corp Marketing’s presentation today, though I must say that the new media initiatives that they proposed have been proposed by our team to the programme departments much earlier.
Hopefully, next work year will be a fun and exciting year for all of us, without forgeting about work-life balance!

Well there’s always an ideal case scenario and the reality. Ideal says we should start with objective, then strategy which is backed by data. However reality is often far far far (x10) from that! Like that how?
A straw poll and street survey can also be data too. It depends on how you position it, I guess.
